About My Dog Photography in Chatham, Ontario.

I’m Matt Gallant, a professional dog photographer based in Chatham, Ontario, proudly serving dog owners across. With years of experience photographing dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I know how to bring out the very best in your pup.

As a dog photographer in Chatham, Ontario, my goal is simple: to capture your dog’s unique personality in natural, beautiful settings that you’ll cherish forever. I don’t just show up with a camera — I scout out the best locations around Chatham that make your dog shine, whether that’s running free, exploring trails, or posing against scenic backdrops.

Some of my favourite spots for dog photography sessions in Chatham Ontario include:

  • John Waddell Dog Park – a fenced 2-hectare park along the Thames River, perfect for action shots and wide-open energy.

  • Chatham-Kent Off-Leash Dog Park (Water Street) – a playful spot with open space and shade, great for capturing fun puppy moments.

  • O’Neill Nature Preserve (Paxton’s Bush) – quiet wooded trails with soft, natural light for peaceful, intimate portraits.

  • Mud Creek Trail – tree-lined paths for walking shots that show the bond between you and your dog.

  • Rondeau Provincial Park & Erieau Pier – dramatic sunsets, beaches, and water views for those big, breathtaking portraits.

Coco & Emily – A Perfect Duo in Front of the Camera

When it comes to capturing love, it’s not just about the dog—it’s about the bond they share with their humans. Emily was the perfect example of this. From the moment she sat down with Coco, there was this effortless glow in her eyes that told their story without words.

She didn’t need to pose; her natural warmth and connection with Coco shined through every frame. The session felt so authentic because Emily brought out the very best in Coco—playful tail wags, bright eyes, and those little moments of pure joy. Together, they created images that feel alive, full of personality and love.
