
Bowl of Cream: Driving Engagement and Growth for a Food Truck Business
Working with Bowl of Cream, a niche mobile ice cream truck, I was able to implement a full-stack digital marketing strategy that significantly increased their visibility, customer engagement, and sales. What I Did & How I Did It
Mobile Marketing Campaign
Recognizing that food trucks rely heavily on real-time, location-based traffic, I designed a mobile-first marketing strategy. This included geotargeted social ads, SMS call-to-actions, and on-the-go promotions designed to capture attention from nearby customers.
Drone Videography
To further elevate their digital storytelling, I captured drone footage of the truck in action—at events, parks, and busy city streets. These cinematic visuals were used in social media ads and website banners to reinforce their unique, mobile experience.
Landing Pages for Paid Ads
I built custom, high-converting landing pages optimized for paid ad traffic. These pages were fast-loading, mobile-friendly, and designed to drive specific actions—like email signups, coupon redemptions, or directions to their current location.
Email Marketing Integration
I implemented an email signup pop-up with an incentive offer (e.g. free topping or discount), which helped build a growing customer database. This allowed for segmented email campaigns targeting past customers with event announcements, promotions, and seasonal flavors.
Custom Product & Lifestyle Photography
To bring the brand to life, I captured high-quality product photography that highlighted the ice cream’s texture, color, and freshness. In addition, I shot lifestyle imagery of customers enjoying the product, helping create a warm, relatable visual identity across digital channels.
SEO Strategy
I conducted local keyword research tailored to the food truck scene—like “ice cream truck near me” and “mobile desserts [city name].” I then optimized their website structure, page titles, and content, resulting in increased organic traffic and better search visibility.
